Garett Gunderson is a singer-songwriter and visual artist whose work radiates warmth, honesty, and emotional depth. Blending his visual artistry with a lifelong passion for songwriting, Gunderson approaches music like painting: each song layered with color, texture, and feeling. His clear, emotive vocals and authentic lyrics invite listeners into a soundscape that feels both deeply personal and universally human.

Gunderson’s sophomore album, Anywhere Anytime, is a collection of nine original songs inspired by recovery, gratitude, and enduring love. Following a serious car accident in 2024 that temporarily sidelined his musical career, Gunderson gradually found his way back to songwriting, emerging with a renewed appreciation for life, connection, and the people closest to him.

Much of the album was inspired by his wife, Ashley, who served as both muse and first audience throughout the writing process. Says Gunderson: “I played each song for Ashley as I wrote it. Just acoustic guitar and voice. If she liked it, I got a kiss – and it made the album.”

Anywhere Anytime marks Gunderson’s second collaboration with acclaimed producer Stew Kirkwood (JUNO award winner Celeigh Cardinal, King of Foxes). The album features an inspired ensemble of musicians, including Stew Kirkwood (guitar, keyboard, bass, drums), Tim Cotton and Stephanie Suchy (harmony vocals), Bob Tildesley (trumpet), Allison Ochoa (baritone sax), Rob Shapiro (organ), and the Itunu Choir. Together, they’ve crafted a record that balances heartfelt intimacy with vibrant, radio-ready energy — music that uplifts while staying grounded in truth.

Gunderson’s debut solo album, Constellations, earned critical acclaim and reached #14 on CJSR’s Top Albums of 2023. His song Dirty Eyes was nominated for an Edmonton Music Award in 2019. With Anywhere Anytime, he delivers an uplifting reminder that joy, connection, and love can be found wherever we are, and whenever we choose to embrace them.
